Some secrets run deeper than floodwaters.

The spring flood threatening Lazy Rivers is the worst anyone can remember, but it’s nothing compared to the secrets about to surface in this close-knit small town.

Samantha Rivers thought she knew her family’s story—until devastating news about her father changes everything she believed about her past. As she finally opens her heart to the love she’s been running from, she has no idea that the answers she’s been searching for her entire life are closer than she ever imagined.

In Lazy Rivers, everyone knows everyone—or so they think. As the floodwaters recede, long-buried truths are about to emerge. Some will heal old wounds.

Others will change lives forever. And in a town built on relationships, the most shocking discoveries are about the family ties that have been there all along.

A compelling tale of love, loss, and the surprising connections that bind us together.

This is a masterpiece for the ages! Well written and prosaic. Characters you fall in love with and a setting that feels like you're right there. I can't wait for the rest of the series! The Practical Magic of this era.

I like a small town atmosphere because it brings a unique cast of characters. Like the magical aspect that they have the secret power. There are a few twists in the story that will keep you turning the pages to find out what is going on. There are secrets to be revealed. Good read.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About The Author

BECA LEWIS thinks the world is not what it looks like, so she spends her time looking for what isn’t always visible. Addicted to reading from childhood, she thought that the worlds she read about were real. Now she asks, who says they are not?

Beca writes and coaches on shifting the story from her home in Ohio, where she lives with her husband and bunches of birds, trees, flowers, and squirrels.

She says they know more than she does about what is real, and what is not.
