When betrayal is the name of the game, can anyone win?
As the tyrannical, man-made religion of Aaron-Lem spreads across the world like wildfire, banished shapeshifter Meg Portia struggles to come to terms with the weakening of her own powers. Her shapeshifting powers were what made her unique and special. Without them…who is she?
When the power-hungry leaders of the Aaron-Lem cult turn on each other, Meg’s new home is caught in the crossfire. With her powers fading, she must rely on her friends and allies to help her defend her home.
What Meg doesn’t know is that unseen forces are at work, and her vanishing abilities have brought her closer to fulfilling a prophecy written thousands of years before.
Read Betrayed, the second book in The Chronicles of Thamon, and fall in love with these characters who choose friendship, goodness, and faith in each other in order to defeat evil.
In a world where magic is banned, three shapeshifters risk everything to overthrow a false god.

Banished: A Visionary Fantasy Adventure (The Chronicles Of Thamon Book 1) by Beca Lewis is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one out of two in this wonderful start to a brand new series. I recommend it to everyone who loves reading about fantasyI received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A shapeshifter who thinks she is better than everyone else learns she is mistaken. Meg runs away from home when she hears her parents talking about taking her somewhere for her safety as well as others. She is a bit of a wild child and uses her idea of being better than others to her advantage. She tricks a portal maker into sending her off planet where she can be free only to be sent somewhere dangerous for her kind instead. The story that unfolds is a life changing lesson for young Meg. This was a truly interesting book that leaves the reader wanting more. I noticed a lot of references to Erda and found that these series are linked in a way. Loved it.
The Story flow was Great. Banished worked well with the World situations happening at the Islands. I enjoyed the inter action of the Characters. And I can't wait until the next book to see where it leads to.I recommend this book for people who like someone dropped into a Foreign Environment, and trying not to stand out.

About The Author
BECA LEWIS thinks the world is not what it looks like, so she spends her time looking for what isn’t always visible. Addicted to reading from childhood, she thought that the worlds she read about were real. Now she asks, who says they are not?
Beca writes and coaches on shifting the story from her home in Ohio, where she lives with her husband and bunches of birds, trees, flowers, and squirrels.
She says they know more than she does about what is real, and what is not.
